[ Today's Optional ] Peking Roast Duck: With its long history, Peking roast duck is well known among both domestic and overseas customers. The duck is hung in the oven and roasted by flame burning from fruit-wood. It takes about 45 minutes for the duck to be done. The finished duck is characteristic with crispy skin, tender meat and the fragrance from the fruit-wood.

Day 3  Beijing (B,L)
Today's Activities:
The hightlight today is the Mutianyu Great Wall. You might climb up the Wall by foot, or take cable car(the optional cost is RMB 50 one way).
Sacred WayThis road was known as “shendao”, meaning "the way of the spirit". The body of the dead was carried across this route at funeral ceremonies. It is 7 kilometers long, starting at the Memorial Arch to the gate of the main tomb.
Ming Tombs (Changling)Between 1368 and 1644 the Ming Dynasty had 16 emperors, and thirteen of them were buried in Beijing. This is where the tombs got their names from. The Ming tombs are located about 50 kilometers to the north of Beijing.
Mutianyu Great WallThe Mutianyu Great Wall is 73 km from Beijing and has 22 watchtowers, about one every kilometer. A 4,000 meter long pathway has been constructed from the road to the summit. It can also be reached by cable car.

Day 4  Beijing (B,L,D)

Continue your city tour in Beijing. Later transferred to Beijin railway station to catch the overnight train (soft sleeper class, 4 berths in one compartment) to Xian. Stay overnight on the train. Train No.: Z19 (leave Beijing at 21h24, arrive Xian at 08h25 next day)

Day 5  Xian (B,L)
Today's Activities:
Arrives at Xian railway station at 08h25 in the morning. Pickup from train station, transfer to hotel to freshup and have breakfast. Then start your tour in Xian. The highlight is our visit to the ancient Terra-Cotta Armies.
Xian Bell TowerBell Tower in Xian is the most well-preserved and best-known one among many ancient cities of China. The Bell Tower was originally built in the Yingxiang Temple in 1384, at the intersection of West Street and Guangji Street.
