Dali Airport, located in southeast bank of the Erhai Lake and opened to flight in 1995, is named “civilization airport” in southwest China. With a land area of 2,525 mu (one mu is about 667 m2), 4C of flight zone grade and 2,600 m of runway, the airport can receive Boeing 737 and below. It has a tarmac area of 19,550 m2, 4 parking berths and an airport building area of 4,200 m2. Its flight cities include Kunming, Xishuangbanna, Tianjin, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Guiyang, Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, etc. It has successively won the awards of “May Day Prize” and “National Aviation Outstanding Unit” granted–China Federation of Trade Unions.
