The Ancient Culture Street, in the northeastern part of Lanjie, extends to the north and south of the Mazu Palace (Tianhou Gong). The square in front the palace is big enough to hold a thousand people. Built around the square are arts and ballad halls, where fine performances are given on almost all festival days.

In the very centre of the city castel-style is the Food Street. You will inevitably be overwhelmed by the dazzling, delicious food. Diners can eat a range of food from various parts of the country.

Tianjin has a long and diverse colonial history. The city was once home to nine different countries’ concessions, the legacy of which can still be seen today in the city’s varied architectural styles and charming buildings.

Jingyuan Garden was named by Puyi, the last emperor of Qing Dynasty when he settled here. ”Jing” means ”stillness” and the Garden was named after the emperor who try to strengthen himself with noble spirit by living in a peaceful environment.

Tianjin Museum exhibits a range of cultural and historical relics significant to Tianjin. It is a comprehensive museum with about 200,000 collections of historic relics and folk art pieces. The unique architectural style of the museum, whose appearance resembles that of a swan spreading its wings, has meant that it is quickly becoming one of the city's iconic buildings.
