Today's Activities: |
| We will leave Haba Hostel after breakfast, transferred to Zhongdian by our coach. On the way, we'll pay a visit to the Baishui Terrace (White Water Terrace), where the Naxi culture originated. Afterwards, drive to Zhongdian (Shangri-la Country) directly. |
| Baishui Terrace | Baishui Terrace (Baishuitai) is at the foot of the Haba Snow Mountain in Shangri-la is the mysterious White Field, birthplace of the Naxi ethnic minority Dongba Culture. Baishuitai Terrace is widely accepted as the Holy Land of the Dongba Religion. |

| Day 9 Zhongdian,Deqin (B,L) |

| Today we'll drive from Zhongdian to Deqin County (187 KM). Visit the Napahai Lake, Great Bend of Yangtze River, enjoy scenery of Jinsha River Valley, wooden workshop at Benzilan en route. After lunch, pass the Baimang Snow Mountain. The view along the way is fantastic with different kinds of trees, streams down the valley, prayer flags and stupas, and Tibetan villages. Stay overnight in Feilai Temple. |

| [ Today's Optional ] Dongzhulin Monastery: Dongzhulin Monastery is located in Deqen County. It was built seven years prior to the Sumzenlin Monastery on a mountain slope. In October every year it holds a grand ceremony, when an 8.5-meter by 5.2-meter image of the guardian deity, woven in silk, is displayed. A traditional grand prayer and sutra chanting ceremony, attended by numerous pilgrims, is simultaneously held. |

| Enjoy the sunrise of the Meili Snow Mountain (if good weather), we'll drive to Mingyong village later. After lunch, start your hiking trip from village up to Meili Snow Mountain (or ride horse/mule up & down). After about 3 hours trekking, get to the Taizi Monastery (4759 m altitude), a good spot to view the magnificent Mingyong Ice Glacier. After the tour, drive back to Deqin County. |

| After days of toilsome but exciting trip, you're likely to be a little tired, so this morning you can enjoy a breezy relaxing time for getting refreshed. After lunch, we will drive back to Zhongdian, enjoy tremendous view of mountains, lakes and forest on the way. |
