| Drive to Gyantse (about 430km). Visit Yamdrok Lake and Kamba La Pass, arrive Gyantse in the afternoon, the documentary film of "A year in Tibet" was made in this place by BBC FOUR in 2008. | Today you are to mark your life at a new highest level with a challenging adventure to awe-inspiring Mt.Everest! Firstly with a visit to Rongphu Monastery (5150m), the highest monastery in the world, we will see how the monks here to live in such a harsh environment. Later, we continue our trip to Mt.Everest Base Camp. Few words could be describled how exciting it will be when you exceed yourself and stand at the root of Mt.Everest. We will drive back to Tingri in the late afternoon. |
