| Today's highlight is the visit of Mutianyu Great Wall. You might walk to the summit, or you can take cable car one way up, and walk down the mountain. The extra cost is USD 8 per person for cable car. |
| Sacred Way | This road was known as “shendao”, meaning "the way of the spirit". The body of the dead was carried across this route at funeral ceremonies. It is 7 kilometers long, starting at the Memorial Arch to the gate of the main tomb. | | Ming Tombs (Changling) | Between 1368 and 1644 the Ming Dynasty had 16 emperors, and thirteen of them were buried in Beijing. This is where the tombs got their names from.
