Day 1  Beijing
Today's Activities:
You will be picked up at the lobby of your hotel in Beijing by local English speaking tour guide and transferred to Beijing railway station to catch the overnight train to Luoyang. Train ticket is booked by Sinoway Travel. Train No.: K269 (21:42/06:51 next morning), takes 9 hours and 9 minutes. Stay overnight on the train.

Longmen Grottoes: The grottoes and niches of Longmen contain the largest and most impressive collection of Chinese art of the late Northern Wei and Tang Dynasties (316-907). These works, entirely devoted to the Buddhist religion, represent the high point of Chinese stone carving.

Day 2  Luoyang (B,L)
Today's Activities:
Upon arrival at Luoyang railway station at 06:51a.m, pickup by our English speaking tour guide and drive to hotel for your breakfast. Later drive to visit the Longmen Grottoes, Guanlin Temple, White Horse Temple.

The Shaolin Temple: The Shaolin Temple is a Buddhist temple at Mount Songshan in Henan Province. Long famous for its association with Chinese martial arts, the Shaolin Temple is the Mahayana Buddhist Temple best known to the Western world. The Shaolin Temple has been destroyed and rebuilt many times.

Day 3  Luoyang (B,L)
Today's Activities:
After breakfast, drive to Dengfeng to visit the Shaolin Temple, the cradle of Chinese Kong Fu and Zhongyue Temple. After the tour, drive back to Luoyang.

Luoyang Peony Festival: The Peony, the emblem flower of Luoyang, is lauded as "Queen of flowers, with ethereal colour and celestial fragrance". Since the Tang Dynasty no Chinese city has been able to rival Luoyang in growing peonies boasting nearly 10 million peony trees with more than 700 species - all thanks to improvements in technology of peony cultivation.

Day 4  Luoyang,Beijing (B,L)
Today's Activities:
Day tour to Museum of Luoyang Eastern Zhou Royal Horse and Chariot Pits, Luoyang museum, then join in the Peony Festival in Wangcheng Park in the downtown at the rest of the day. Later, you will be transferred to Luoyang railway station to take the overnight train back to Beijing. Train No.: K270 (20:21/05:57 next morning), for soft sleeper.
