| Today's highlight is a visit to Mutianyu Great Wall. You can either walk up to the summit, or you can take a cable car ride up to the top and walk down. There is an extra charge of USD 8 per person for the cable car. |
| Sacred Way | This road was known as “shendao”, meaning "the way of the spirit". The body of the dead was carried across this route at funeral ceremonies. It is 7 kilometers long, starting at the Memorial Arch to the gate of the main tomb. | | Ming Tombs (Changling) | Between 1368 and 1644 the Ming Dynasty had 16 emperors, and thirteen of them were buried in Beijing. This is where the tombs got their names from. The Ming tombs are located about 50 kilometers to the north of Beijing. | | Mutianyu Great Wall | The Mutianyu Great Wall is 73 km from Beijing and has 22 watchtowers, about one every kilometer. | Xian Bell Tower | Bell Tower in Xian is the most well-preserved and best-known one among many ancient cities of China. The Bell Tower was originally built in the Yingxiang Temple in 1384, at the intersection of West Street and Guangji Street. | | Big Wild Goose Pagoda | The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is one of the most distinctive and outstanding landmarks in the south of Xi’an city. It is one of the main constructions in the famous Da-Ci-En Buddhist temple. | | Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum | This site was listed by UNESCO in 1987 as one of the world’s cultural heritages.
