| The highlight today is the Great Wall. The Mutianyu Great Wall is less crowded than Badaling, you might walk up and down the Wall on foot, or take cable car one way or round trips. The extra cost of cable car (RMB 50 one way) will be at your own cost. Fly to Xian in the evening. Pickup from the airport and transfer to the hotel in Xian. |
| Ming Tombs (Changling) | Between 1368 and 1644 the Ming Dynasty had 16 emperors, and thirteen of them were buried in Beijing. This is where the tombs got their names from. The Ming tombs are located about 50 kilometers to the north of Beijing. | | Mutianyu Great Wall | The Mutianyu Great Wall is 73 km from Beijing and has 22 watchtowers, about one every kilometer. | Xian Bell Tower | Bell Tower in Xian is the most well-preserved and best-known one among many ancient cities of China. The Bell Tower was originally built in the Yingxiang Temple in 1384, at the intersection of West Street and Guangji Street. | | Big Wild Goose Pagoda | The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is one of the most distinctive and outstanding landmarks in the south of Xi’an city.
