The manufacture of these items is highly specialized. Artlsans from Jiliu and the surrounding villages are especially gifted and have different specialties. To make silver bangles, the following tools are absolutely necessary: bellows, little iron anvil, fire-tongs, iron hammer, steel drill, wire drawing bench, ailver-melting vat, and series of models such as various animals, flowers and plants, bells etc.

The different silver designs made by the artisans are beautifully worn by the girls especially during New Year's and other festivals.
