Shanghai to hold 2010 World Horticultural Expositi    2008-04-25

Interflora, the leading brand for floral deliveries, as well as one of the world's most recognized and trusted names, reported on Thursday, April 16th that the 2010 World Horticulture Exposition would be held in Shanghai, China.

The exposition is the most authoritative and influential horticulture event in the world, reports the Shanghai Evening Post.

According to Interflora's director, the Shanghai event will be the tenth World Horticulture Exposition, the most recent one having been held in Melbourne, Australia,

By convention, the exposition is held once every four years, so the event should have been held in Shanghai this year, but in concession to the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and in order to coincide with World Expo 2010 Shanghai China the event was put off until 2010.
