With a victorious smile, the final anchor man, Xiao Jian-gang, who took bronze medal at the 26th Olympic Games in 1996, completed the Guilin leg of the 2008 Olympic torch relay on June 6 at 12:00 a.m. This marks Torch Relay of Guilin leg concluded with great success.

208 torchbearers took part in the 15 kilometers long run through Guilin downtown, which highlighted many classic tour attractions along the world-renowned Lijiang River after starting from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.  The relay ended at Guilin Sports Center.

That is to say, the Beijing 2008 Olympic Game in Guilin is  a tour of landscape, a tour of ecology, a tour of harmony, and is the harmonious epitome of Guilin hills, rivers and people.
