Traditional Common Laws of Dong Ethnic

the Dong had set up common laws called 'Kuan Laws', for all residents. At the same time, they also established a 'Kuan Team', a chief was elected for the sole purpose of overseeing that all common laws were followed. |

Worship to the Goddess Sa Sui of Dong Ethnic

In Zhaoxing and the surrounding areas, most of the Sa Altar are buil near the Drum Towers. Wherever the Dong people make their homes, there will always be a sacrificial altar built for the Goddess Sa Sui. This altar is called, 'Sa Altar'. |

The Dong woman usually wears a coat/dress combination type of clothing over a short pleated skirt or a pair of leggings. The most striking feature of a Dong woman's dressing is the headpiece she wears. |
