China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair)

China Import and Export Fair, also called Canton Fair, is held twice a year in Spring and Autumn since it was inaugurated in the Spring of 1957. It is China's largest trade fair of the highest level, of the most complete varieties and of the largest attendance and business turnover. Preserving its traditions, the Fair is a comprehensive and multi-functional event of international importance.

Canton Fair is the most effective way to develop the business relationships you need to succeed in China. It's no wonder that the Canton Trade Fair has already become a must see for all those looking for business success in China.

By now, Canton Fair has become China's largest trade fair, a fair of the highest level, and of the largest business turnover. As Canton Fair has made importtant contributtions to the exchanges, technical as well as economic, between China and the rest of the world, it has been honoured with the title of "a bridge for trade and a tie of friendship".

China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) is highly flexible in ways of business. Businessis negotiated against the samples on display, and the Fair leans to export trade, though import busines is also done there. Apart from the above-mentioned, economic exchanges with regard to technicalimport and export, commodity inspection, insurance, foreign tradetransportation, advertising consulancy etc. are also carried out.

The 105th session of China Import and Export Fair
The 105th session of China Import and Export Fair--Canton Fair will be arranged in 3 phases instead of 2, from 15 April to 7 May, 2009. Each phase will last 5 days instead of 6 with 2 intervals for 4 days each. All three phases will be held in the Pazhou Complex, while Liuhua Complex will no longer be used.

Phase 2: 24th-28th April 2009    9:30-18:00.
Phase 3: 3rd-7th May 2009        9:30-18:00.
