Local people put wheat, pea, buckwheat, soybean sprout, tofu and peanut into boiling cooking pot, add vinegar together, and this type of noodle soup will be their main dish, 3 times everyday. The Guanglin Vegetarian Restaurant is located in a peaceful neighbour, in the north part of Datong, even the taxi drivers do not known so much of this part of the city. We walked 40 minutes through the Stalin style civilian houses, mostly built in 1950's, stoped to ask local people by showing them the name of the restaurant in Chinese, and eventually we found the place. |
