Sofitel Hangzhou Westlake

I stayed at the Sofitel Hangzhou Westlake last week as part of a tour package. I’ve never stayed at a Sofitel hotel before so I didn’t know what to expect.

The room was clean and good size. The bathroom was big, with a separate shower and tub behind the same glass door (which is kind of unique). Even thought this hotel didn’t give me any special impression that sets it apart from other hotels I stayed during this trip, it was nice and adequate.

The location is great. It’s right by the West Lake and supposedly very close to a bunch of bars and clubs (which other folks from our group visited). Breakfast is on the top floor, and if weather permits, you get a great view.
