Farewell on Simatai Great Wall
Today was spent on the Simatai section of the great wall, a 3 hour expedition via bus (3 hours in a tin can each way). However it was definately worth it, as how could you come to china and not see the wall, plus going to this further out section meant less tourists, though still tons of them. The girls were feeling lazy, so we got the cable car up to the wall then walked along the peaks and back down. Its a shame that this is another one of those things i really cant do justice by describing, so i wont!
The farewell meal was a goddun’, beijing duck, which in itself wasn’t very good i thought, i’ve had better at home, however the meal in general and its atmosphere was one, of the best so far, a fitting farewell to dragon.
