Asia International Hotel Guangzhou
We stayed at Asia International Hotel Guangzhou for 4 nights. We paid $72/nt for a single king bed and in advance. When we got there inspected this room, it was fine but, we paid an extra $14/nt for one breakfast (only one, regularly about $14, and not that good. if you are with someone else, you will probably eat on the street). Good point is that all rooms have free internet access. We used the business office twice but they are not very helpful, but they try. I wanted to locate a company but they had no idea what how to help or did not understand? Over all the price and the service is a good value. The location is commercial & shopping street where there are good places to eat and places to see.

My wife and I stayed at the Asia International Hotel for 2 nights during Nov.2005. We were pleased with the location on Huanshi Dong Road, there are many bars, disco, shops and restaurants on the street.
The rooms were clean. Service is ok but not really great. Breakfast is nice. There is one thing I did not like. Staff at the front desk were extremely s-l-o-w and unhelpful. It took twenty minutes to check out though I was the only one in line.
This hotel is excellently located in city centre. The view from sky revolving restaurant is spectacular. The rooms and bathrooms are a good size and comfortable. The main reason you would stay at this hotel is it is a decent hotel in an excellent location.
I have enjoyed my stay at Guangzhou International Hotel greatly, even though my stay was short ( 3 days only ). Hotel itself was pretty cheap, staff very friendly AND communicative; location excellent – couldn’t possibly get better in that industrial area – close to shops and easy to find if you’re over there for the first time. They have english language tv channels for all who love tv slightly too much…
They could slightly change the breakfast menu though. It’s a bit boring…..
No need to say more- it’s definitely the best hotel in the neighbourhood and worth recommending. Both thumbs up!!!
