Ramada Plaza Guangzhou Hotel
Ramada Plaza Guangzhou Hotel is a very new and lovely. Rooms are neat and deliver a fresh feeling. Beds are simply tremendous, bathroom well disigned and amenities surprising for such a low rate. Adorable staffs are quite helpful.
The hotel is 15 minutes walking distance to the Guangzhou East Railway Station, where you can take subway system to the Canton Fair Panzhou. Unfortunately you must know how to find the exit to the hotel when you come back from the Fair by subway. And you will find out that you have to cross a busy-traffic street!
Not many available entertainment near the hotel. Recommend you to take a taxi to Gangding, the most busy shopping area in Tianhe District.

I have stayed at this Hotel twice during 2005 and 2006, during the 97th, 98th, 99th and 100th canton fairs. I found the Staff and Management to be superb.
The rooms are excellent, the only comments i have is the limited western food available, to be perfectly fair to the hotel, they do a superb job of trying to
cater for ALL tastes and i am a particularily fussy Englishman.
A taxi to downtowmn is approx 15 minutes and is very reliable and cheap i thought. If you really want to stay closer to Downtown Guangzhou that is fine but it is much more expensive. However I go to Guangzhouon business and to visit the fair venues.I am not interested in night clubs etc.
