| The highlight is the visit to the majestic Mutianyu Great Wall. Recommend you to climb up the Wall to enjoy the magnificent view. If you prefer, you might also choose to go up and down by cable car, the extra cost of cable car (RMB 50 one way) will be at your own cost. |
| Sacred Way | This road was known as “shendao”, meaning "the way of the spirit". The body of the dead was carried across this route at funeral ceremonies. It is 7 kilometers long, starting at the Memorial Arch to the gate of the main tomb. | | Ming Tombs (Changling) | Between 1368 and 1644 the Ming Dynasty had 16 emperors, and thirteen of them were buried in Beijing. This is where the tombs got their names from. | Transfer to Beijing train station for your early morning train (soft seat) to Chengde. Train No.: N211 (leaves Beijing at 06h30, arrives Chengde at 10h48. 4 hours and 18 minutes). Upon arrival at the Chengde railway station, pickup by our English speaking tour guide and drive to hotel to freshup and have breakfast. Then drive to take our sightseeing tour. |
